Why coders move
The pricing is a maze, and the membership maths is worse
Four tiers, each with a member price and a non-member price, plus a $229/yr membership that discounts them. At a single seat the membership costs $229 to save you $143. We have one price.
It searches like a database, not like a coder
Type "mdd" into our search and you get F33. Type "dm2" and you get E11. Paste "E119" and you land on E11.9. Coders do not type in full descriptors, and a search box that insists they do is making them do the work.
You are already paying AAPC for a lot
Certification, CEUs, conferences, membership. A lookup tool does not have to be another line on the same invoice, and it does not have to be sold to you by the organisation that holds your credential.
