What the pricing page doesn’t tell you
- Prices differ for AAPC members and non-members. The figures above are the non-member rate.
- AAPC membership is $229/yr. On a single Codify seat it saves you $143, so buying membership purely to unlock the discount loses you $86.
- Codify is also sold inside book bundles (roughly $620–$750 on sale), but those bundles are for first-time Codify subscribers only.
And for comparison, what we charge
Medical Coding & Billing Pro is $390 a year, one tier, everything included, with a 7-day trial that does not ask for a card.
Be fair to AAPC Codify though: their Coder Search tier at $129 is cheaper than we are. If code lookup is genuinely all you need, buy that instead of us. What we are competing with is their Pro Fee Coder tier at $659, which is the one with the compliance checking in it.
